Klondike Storage

Packing your space

• Place items on pallets or on blocks to keep items off the floor to help with air circulation and moisture
  control
• leave a walkway to the rear of unit if possible
• place frequently retrieved items near the front
• place valuables in the rear of the unit

Furniture

• Apply a heavy coat of furniture polish before storing wood items
• Cover with old sheets rather than plastic
• Store couches on end, on a pallet to save floor space

Bicycles, Tools, and Equipment

• Wipe all metal objects with an oily rag before storing to prevent rust

Boxes

• Completely fill all boxes
• Pack heavy items in small boxes
• Seal boxes with masking tape
• Label boxes on top and sides to help identify contents without have to open
